Gravesend Railway Enthusiasts Society was formed in 1970 for people with an interest in railways and other forms of transport such as trams, buses, planes and shipping.

Railway modelling is also of great interest to many of our members. Some of members take their layouts to exhibitions in the County. We also have an annual exhibition at the beginning of November.

Membership costs £18 per year.

For your subscription you get:
  1. Visits to places of interest.

  2. 10 issues of our magazine “GRES Journal”

  3. 20 meetings a year with presentations from guest speakers

  4. Subsidised annual coach tour outing in July to places of interest. Members pay a small charge.

  5. Free entry to our annual model railway exhibition in November

Doors open 1930 and meetings start 1945 and finish approximately 2215

 

New members are always welcome. Please come along to one our meetings to meet us and hopefully join our Society.
